About This Event
The Alger Heights Halloween 5k is a volunteer led, neighborhood focused 5k fun run. We are a 'small town in a big city' event that seeks to include all individuals and support the betterment of our local community. From runners seeking their next PR to walkers in costumes all 5k participants are chip timed as the run through the scenic Alger Heights neighborhood during peak fall colors. We are excited to invite you to come run, jog, walk, or stroll in your best costume!
The 5k is just part of a greater neighborhood gathering. We will be having a Community Costume Contest - NO RACE REGISTRATION NECESSARY - and is free and open to everyone. Be sure to swing by the photo booth to have your picture taken. There will be prizes for best individual under 18, best individual over 18, best group (2-3), and best group (4 more) costumes!
