About This Event
GR 175 Photo Exhibit
The City of Grand Rapids is celebrating its 175th Anniversary from April 2025 through April 2026, and it’s inviting the community to explore 175 years of Grand Rapids history through 175 images – one for each year from 1850 to 2025.
Developed by the City of Grand Rapids Archives, the Grand Rapids Public Museum, the Grand Rapids Public Library, the Grand Rapids African American Museum and Archives, the Grand Rapids Historical Commission and the Grand Rapids Historical Society, the GR175 exhibit is a fascinating journey through our rich and storied past.
This mobile exhibit will rotate around several city facilities, making it easy and convenient for everyone to see it at some point. Check the tentative schedule below – we’ll fill in more details as soon as they’re announced. Be sure to bring your smartphone with you to the exhibit and scan the on-site QR code to see the images on your device!
