About This Event
The Giving Machine is a fun and immediate way to help those in need here in West Michigan and around the globe. Select an item from this big red vending machine and 100% of your donation goes to the charity of your choice for the item you choose to give.
Local nonprofits featured in the 2025 Grand Rapids Giving Machine are Equest Center for Therapeutic Ridden, Mel Trotter Ministries, North Kent Connect, Paws With A Cause and Samaritas. 30 items are available to donate with costs ranging from $8 to $120. A "777 Challenge" is also available for groups and organizations which donates one of every item in the Grand Rapids Giving Machine.
The Giving Machine is part of the "Light the World" global initiative of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter–day Saints. In 2025, Giving Machines will appear in 126 cities across six continents. Its goal is to encourage all of us to reach out and share are light with someone in need. Since 2017, the Giving Machine has raised over $44 million for local and global humanitarian programs.
