About This Event
The first Danish Festival was held on August 18, 1965, and still happens today! The Danish festival draws crowds of over 80,000, where they come together to enjoy music, arts and crafts, parades, children’s activities, an authentic Danish breakfast and dinner, and more. Greenville is 40 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids.
Every effort is made to maintain the festival as a non-commercial community event. The Danish Festival was Incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1968.
The Danish Festival Board of Directors hopes that you will enjoy this celebration of the Danish Festival!
