About This Event

Join BAM Talent for an evening of high stakes, sharp suits, and quick wits! BAM TALENT is proud to present our shadowcast for Spring 2026: HARLEM NIGHTS!

ABOUT THE FILM
Step into the velvet-lined world of 1930s New York, where the jazz is hot, the stakes are high, and the players are the smoothest in the business. Harlem Nights is a cinematic landmark that brings together an assembly of Black entertainment royalty for a high-stakes masterclass in grit and glamour.

At the heart of the action are "Sugar" Ray (Richard Pryor) and his sharp-witted protégé, Quick (Eddie Murphy).Together, they run Club Sugar Ray, a pinnacle of underground sophistication. But when a corrupt police force and a ruthless crime syndicate attempt to muscle in on their empire, the duo must rely on their sharpest instincts and a loyal inner circle—including the formidable Vera (Della Reese) and the sharp-tongued Bennie (Redd Foxx) — to orchestrate the ultimate sting.

Featuring powerhouse turns by Jasmine Guy, Arsenio Hall, Thomas Mikal Ford and Danny Aiello, Harlem Nights is a polished, high-octane comedic celebration of character and charisma.
