Join us at the library for an afternoon of South American dance presented by Laura Armenta and members of Laura Armenta Dance Company! Enjoy an interactive lecture, workshop, and performance where attendees will experience fun and colorful dances from South America and learn some basic moves!
Laura Armenta is a Mexican-born choreographer with 40 years of professional experience in dance and holistic arts. Her work spans contemporary dance, ethnochoreology, and cultural storytelling, captivating audiences from Mexico City to international stages. She is the founder and CEO of Armentality Group, Artistic Director of Armentality Movement Arts Center, and founder and Artistic Director of Laura Armenta Dance Company.
