Back for its 27th year, Mums at Meijer Gardens (October 1–31) transforms our grounds into Michigan’s largest chrysanthemum display. Stroll through gardens filled with thousands of mums in warm seasonal hues, alongside pumpkins, gourds, ornamental grasses, and creative floral arrangements. Explore indoor and outdoor displays, discover unique pumpkin varieties grown by Michigan farmers, and enjoy the return of Autumn Nights every Tuesday in October with live entertainment, children’s activities, and seasonal refreshments.

Wander through vibrant gardens bursting with thousands of chrysanthemums in the warm hues of autumn—gold, rust, cream, and deep brown. From the Grand Entry Garden to the Grace Jarecki Seasonal Display Garden, each space is artfully adorned with mums arranged in containers, topiaries, and trellises. Seasonal touches of ornamental grasses, peppers, pumpkins, and gourds add layers of texture and color, creating an unforgettable celebration of fall’s beauty. Additionally, the Earl & Donnalee Holton Victorian Garden Parlor adds to the spectacle with its colorful displays.

During Mums at Meijer Gardens, guests can enjoy a vibrant harvest of heirloom vegetables, herbs, gourds, and larger-than-life pumpkins. Additional activities available on Tuesday nights during Autumn Nights include food trucks, pumpkin carving demonstrations and live music.

Admission is free for members or included with daily tickets.
