About This Event
Join the City of Kentwood on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025 for a Unity Walk in honor of Black History Month. Residents are invited to gather in front of Von Maur at Woodland Mall, 3195 28th St SE, at 11 a.m. for a walk, which will end at 11:20 a.m.
After the walk, there will be a ceremony at 11:20 a.m. in front of Von Maur including:
• Welcome
• Music
• Coffee and refreshments
The Unity Walk will be followed by the African American Live Museum, presented by New Hope Baptist Church. Starting at 1 p.m., witness over 25 live performances featuring historical Black figures. Travel through time as you learn about historical African American figures through live performances throughout Woodland Mall.
