About This Event
As you meander through the forest on a candle-lit path, you'll enjoy the serenity of the forest at night. At the cabin, enjoy a warm fire, and make your way to the wetland observation deck to view for the Geminid Meteor Shower. Back at the Center, warm up with some hot chocolate. It is an open time frame, come anytime between 5 and 9 pm on Friday or Saturday, and from 5 to 8 pm on Sunday.
Saturday is Family Night! At the cabin, string popcorn or make a pinecone birdfeeder ornament for our tree. Back at the Center, make a nature inspired craft in the building. Friday and Sunday are open to all, but with no additional crafts in the building or at the cabin.
Trail length is 1 mile with an option to extend the walk with a 1/2 mile loop on the Wege Natural Area preserve. NO dogs allowed for this event. Additional parking will be available at the high school. Luminaries will mark the path from the high school to the WWC.
